Wow, where has the summer gone? July, we descended on Guffy and the Bull Moose Inn for some good food. It funny that we had more people on our run than in the whole town. Then it was time for the Five and one. Several hundred riders took the challenge and made it to the end. One flat and one charging system failure, not bad for the day. I even made all the right turns along the route.
August, We went to Bishop castle and paid our respects to the dragon. Next came the I didn’t go to Sturgis Run that sailed thru Rocky Mountain National Park. Back from that run ,it was time to join our brothers and sisters in Cripple Creek to remember those who gave their all for us. I’ve never been loss leading that ride in the sixteen years I have done it.
September to remember: As quick ride to Woodland Park to check out some sweet rides during the Above The Clouds car show. The long Aspen ride we took the Rim of the Black Canyon to Montrose and It was awesome with colors and a buck with a giant rack. The next day we explored the Black Canyon Park in all it glory. This ride was a double plus hit with everyone. The short Aspen run headed for one of my favorite roads (Deer Creek) but three crouch rockets tried to straightened one of the curves. Curves won. So we had a little detour which ran us though Pine and Zoies, great food.
So now I’m up to date what we been doing, it a new set of tires and hit the road.
